Meet Andy...
Senior Associate,
Piping, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Engineering Team Leader, Rochester Office
Andy has more than 17 years of professional mechanical engineering and construction experience. He has extensive experience in the design of a variety of fire protection, plumbing, and process piping systems for institutional, federal, commercial, and residential facilities. He has served as Project Manager on over 100 projects and is skilled at clearly delivering technical information at forums such as public hearings. Andy is a Professional Member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers and a Corporate Representative to the National Fire Protection Association.
Andy came to Erdman Anthony over 11 years ago and with assistance from Erdman Anthony's tuition assistance program, finished his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently working on his master's degree. In the last 11 years, Andy's responsibilities have grown from Mechanical Technician to Team Leader. In that time, he also obtained his Professional Engineer's license in New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland and received a Certified Fire Protection Specialist certification.
What do you enjoy most about your position?
I really like the environment. Even though we typically work on very challenging projects, we always try and have fun.
If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
My wife. With two kids, it's rare to get a dinner alone.
If you could be a part of any moment in history?
I would like to be at Super Bowl XXV so I could tell Scott Norwood to try and aim a little to the left.

Saturday night finds you?
Usually at home playing Madden '07 with my son.
What do you do to recharge your batteries?
I try and sneak away for a ride on my motorcycle.
