ASCE Rochester Section Names Chris Sichak, PE, M.ASCE, Engineer of the Year

At its annual Engineer of the Year banquet on Feb. 26, 2026, the Rochester (NY) Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) recognized Chris Sichak, PE, M.ASCE, for his distinguished service and contributions as a practitioner in the local engineering community.

The Engineer of the Year honor recognizes Chris’ more than 25 years of experience in civil and bridge engineering, which includes several award-winning transportation projects. The award also honors his sustained leadership and service to the profession through his roles as president of ASCE Rochester Section and the Association for Bridge Construction and Design of Western New York Chapter (ABCD WNY), along with ongoing involvement in the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York).

Chris is a principal associate and Northeast structures department manager at Erdman Anthony’s Rochester office and is a professional engineer in New York, Maine, Florida, and Georgia.
