About the Project

The Erie County Department of Public Works is progressing the Bailey Avenue Rehabilitation Project. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate approximately 1.19 miles of Bailey Avenue (US 62 / CR 152) from Grover Cleveland Highway (NYS 263) to Sheridan Drive (NYS 324). The project will address poor conditions on both sides of the street by resurfacing the pavement and providing drainage structure repairs or replacements. Pedestrian access will also be improved by upgrading sidewalk curb ramps to meet applicable ADA/PROWAG standards.
