Impacts:

As part of CEPP, the S-620 improvements contributes to restoring natural water flow in the Everglades.

Sustainable Design Impact

The broader plan, developed by SFWMD and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, enhances water quality, quantity, and distribution to the Northern Estuaries, water conservation areas, Everglades National Park, and Florida Bay, while reducing harmful Lake Okeechobee discharges.
