Troy Housing Authority Residential Communities

Erdman Anthony provided surveying and commissioning (Cx) services for improvements to multiple affordable housing facilities in Troy, NY.

Our survey team documented the existing site conditions at each of the five assigned facilities. The survey work included boundary and topographic mapping, as well as issuing ALTA/NSPS land title survey documents. The mapping was forwarded to the design team for use in the planning and implementation process. Once the improvements progressed, Erdman Anthony was re-engaged to provide commissioning services. These additional services started during the renovation, continued through the acceptance phase, and concluded during the building turnover phase.

Erdman Anthony provided Cx services for the following mechanical and electrical systems:

• Energy recovery units
• Boilers

• Exhaust fans
• DHW heaters
• Terminal heating valves
• Gas furnaces
• Lighting
• Building automation systems

Survey deliverables documented existing conditions on the site and were referenced as the design improvements progressed. The commissioning provided documentation of the installed improvements to the building systems, ultimately contributing to residents’ quality of life.
