Erdman Anthony provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for Saratoga Regional Urology Associates, a medical office in Saratoga Springs, NY, that provides outpatient services and is affiliated with Saratoga Hospital. Renovating the space to bring it up to industry standards entailed designing a new exhaust system, a new lighting system, and electrical services for various spaces. The plumbing was reconfigured, and the fixtures in the restrooms and exam rooms were replaced.
Our firm’s design called for reusing two of the existing HVAC units and adding one new unit to the roof. The new unit is primarily for providing conditioned air and ventilation to the Class A operating room. A new humidifier and controls also were added to the system in order to maintain indoor comfort year-round.
