As part of a master services agreement, Erdman Anthony is providing the City of Rochester Water Bureau with field topographic surveying and mapping services.
The agreement involves the replacement of city water distribution mains on various streets and other projects undertaken by the water bureau throughout the city and in other locations outside the city where the water bureau’s facilities are located.
The field surveying is performed within the limits determined by the water bureau and tied to the city’s horizontal and vertical datums. The mapping is prepared using software and techniques consistent with the water bureau’s standards.
Ultimately, the mapping is utilized by the water bureau as basemapping for its system analysis and construction documents.
